Brass: horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba. These are all instruments made of metal called brass. All brass instruments produce sound by the performer bussing their lips into the mouthpiece. They are usually very loud!

Tuba, Trombone, and Euphonium
There are two categories within the broad family of brass instruments: high brass and low brass. Low brass instruments provide the foundation and bass of any ensemble. Being a tuba player, I often listened intently and was very aware of the other parts that lay on top of mine. In addition to being a tuba player, I have also picked up the two different instruments in the low brass family, The trombone and the euphonium. Here I demonstrate these three brass instruments in a series of videos I have created to inspire the next generation of low brass musicians.
